These are the settled parts of the dinosaur story: not guesses about color or call, but the anatomy and the timeline the fossil record actually supports.

The Dataset Behind the Questions

Every fact behind this quiz sits in a dataset that was filled in twice. Two authors, working separately, answered the same fixed catalog of questions and completed the same structured tables. The two versions were then compared key by key: 194 of 196 agreed, and the two contested entries were removed rather than scored, because a fact that divides its own authors makes a rotten quiz question. Dinosaurs also benefit from a second rule the site holds to — no facts that rot. Records that change hands and statuses that get revised yearly are left out across Fauna, so what remains here is the stable core.
