Each question gives four options; one is right.

Checking Facts Twice

Behind this page sits a dataset that two authors filled in independently, each working from the same fixed keys — a catalog of questions and a set of structured tables. Their answers were compared one value at a time. Out of 196 keys, 194 matched, and the two that did not were dropped from the site entirely instead of being scored. Fauna also refuses facts with a shelf life: conservation statuses that get revised yearly and records that pass from holder to holder never make it in. A whale fact you meet here is one both authors wrote down the same way.
