Snake Quiz
This snake quiz asks six questions about how snakes sense their surroundings, how large they grow, and the jaw that famously comes unhinged.
The Ground These Six Questions Cover
Six questions, three territories. The first is sense — how a snake keeps track of the world around it, which is not the way you keep track of yours. The second is size, from the small end of the family to the large. The third is the unhinged jaw, and what that piece of anatomy lets a snake do at dinner. Four options each; one survives scrutiny.
The Double-Entry Answer Key
Fauna’s answers are built like a double-entry ledger. Two authors filled in the same dataset independently — the same question catalog, the same structured tables — and the copies were compared value by value. They agreed on 194 of 196 keys. The two contested facts were not put to a vote or looked up a third time; they were dropped, because a fact that splits two careful authors makes a bad question with a worse answer key. The site also leaves out anything that expires — yearly-revised statuses, records that change hands — so the snake facts here are the durable ones.
What Happens When You Play
The quiz lives in this page and starts when you do. Each pick gets an instant verdict, right or wrong, with the correct answer shown on the spot. A review of all six questions closes the run, and your best score is saved in your browser for the next attempt. No signup, nothing to download, and no hurry — the questions wait as patiently as their subject.
