Bug Quiz
This bug quiz runs thirteen questions through the insect world: legs to count, lights to explain, and honey to trace back to its makers.
Thirteen Questions on Small Bodies
The 13 questions in this insect quiz sort into three jobs. Legs get counted — for insects and for the crawlers that only look like insects, where the count is the whole giveaway. Lights get explained: the quiz wants to know whether you can say what is actually glowing out there on a summer night, and why. And honey gets made, with questions about who does the making and how. Four options per question, one correct.
Verified the Slow Way
Every answer here passed a deliberately tedious test. Two authors filled in the same dataset without seeing each other’s work — the same question catalog, the same structured tables — and the two copies were compared value by value. Agreement ran 194 out of 196 keys. The two facts that came back different were dropped from the site altogether, unscored, because a disputed fact has no place behind a multiple-choice option. The dataset also refuses facts that rot: no yearly-revised statuses, no records waiting to be broken. What is left is the stable material, which insects supply in abundance.
